A small selection of the media I've consumed, arrainged as a five-course meal. These are sectioned both by media type, heaviness, and pairings with other media. Bon appetit!
Small stories or stories that can be taken in small bites. These are often more light or whimsical.
Stories that are satisfying and complete, but not emotionally draining or demanding.
Stories that are either very lengthy, emotionally engaging, or require a lot of attention.
I will be real, I finally watched this recently while at a friend's house for movie night. Full of fun science nonsense and a strange mix of optimism and betrayal, it feels like the final breath of fresh air I'd needed. Somehow it feels like everyone got exactly what they needed in the end. Watch this one if you wanna down an emotional rollercoaster like a shot of fireball.
Truly my favorite of favorites. An intruiging deep-dive into the Watergate scandal told by two of the journalists who broke the story wide open. The timeline feels a bit confusing, but the book does a lot to tie it all together. Read this one when you want a real life 70s noir (and when crimes were actually punished!).
